Tank Rebuild.

I decided to strip down my display tank in late June 2003 to add a 100watt Dupla under-gravel heater to it. So to help other people who are planning on setting up a tank with a under-gravel heater or with a substrate base like I use, this article should help you achieve this.
I have photographed the tank through each stage of the process and explained what I did and why I did it to help out those of you who are doing this for the first time.
You should allow yourself a full day or better still a week-end if you don't want to rush things to do the 6 stages. If this is a new setup you can add plants and other aquatic items like logs and rocks to the aquarium but WAIT at least 2 to 3 weeks before you start adding fish to it and then only add a few each day over a period of a week.
